An unusually large number of visitors transformed our Breaking of Bread meeting this morning. These were: Rob and Esther Thomas of Australia, Paul and Elizabeth Jackson of Harrogate, Paul and Nicola Cartwright of Northampton, Jack Giles of Luton, Colin and Carol Lamb of Chesterfield, Mary, a friend of Kathleen, Elizabeth Hearsum of West Mersea and Tom and Pauline McAlpine. Also seven children!
This evening Phillip Richarsdson of Harrogate led our Gospel Meeting. He gave a dramatic rendering of the story of Naaman from 2 Kings 5 - leprosy as a picture of sin. He also shared some thoughts concerning the Epistle to the Philippians, picking out a key verse from each chapter: Chapter 1 (v21), Chapter 2 (v5). Chapter 3(v7), Chapter4 (v13).
Both Peter and Audrey Jones are making good progress, and we continue to remember them and also Terry and Iris in our prayers.
