Mr. Peter Jones from Scarborough read Matthew 3 vs.13-17 and 17 vs.1-8 also John 12 23-33.
He spoke about "The Voice of God from Heaven."
God's great gift to us of His Son should not be ignored or rejected, which would be a great sin and we would be forsaking His joy and love.
The Baptism.
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
The Transfiguration.
5 This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
His Imminent Death.
28 Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
The Rapture.
1 Thess. 4 vs.16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
