Sunday 15th July

Philip Kaye (Skelmanthorpe) preached the gospel. His reading were Luke Ch. 13 vs. 31-33, John Ch. 8 vs. 28, 29, and John Ch. 14 vs. 1-6. Philip spoke about Jesus, God's Son, who came into the world to be our Saviour. Jesus always please God, and by his life showed how sinful we are. He was crucified on a cross at Jerusalem. Why? He came to die for our sins. We are faced with the choice to either accept Jesus as our Saviour or reject Him. Jesus will not turn away anyone who comes to Him.
