116 DOWN FROM HIS GLORY
Do you have doubts about the
authenticity of the coming of the Saviour, have you ever wondered about the big
picture, about life about the future, we get so caught up in the moment. What
about God, why did He send His Son to be the Saviour? How is that relevant to
me.
It was relevant to Mary and Joseph,
the shepherds , the wise men, Herod, and later also to the Romans, The
Israelites had waited long for a Saviour and this was a real turning point in
history, and also in God’s plan for man. He is just as relevant today, He came
to bring peace on earth and you might well say there is no peace today but
individuals can have peace with God because of the fact that Jesus was born He
grew He died on a cross to bear the judgement of God for sin and through faith
in Him we can enjoy Salvation that He
offers to us and have peace with God and enjoy the peace of God.
