Gospel Meeting 25/05/2014

Mr. George Clamp read Hebrews 13 vs.8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
"Yesterday things were different, today they are different still, but Jesus never changes"
Things are always changing, but Jesus never changes.
The Bible (God's Word) never changes.
Isaiah  55vs.11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The truths of God's Word never change.
The promises of God's Word never change.
A Hell bound sinner can change to a Heaven bound saint.
God's listening ear never changes.
God loves you, and sent His Son to die for you.
God's Son never changes and that gives us great assurance for our future security in Him.
He will never cast you out.
He will never leave us.
He cares for you.
He will never change His mind or withdraw the comforter.
Are you trusting Him and His finished work at Calvary.
Acts 16 vs.31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,
Make the biggest change of all

Gospel Meeting 18/05/2014

Mr Alan Green read Hebrews 2 vs.14-18 about reconciliation and forgiveness.
Mark 4 vs.36-41 what manner of man is this.
We are safe in the Lord Jesus no matter what happens, He is constant, faithful and a Saviour worth having.
"What manner of man is this."
He was born of a virgin.
He was laid in a manger.
God spoke from Heaven "this is my Beloved Son.
He healed many, fed many, raised to life the dead.
He never sinned.
He was crucified.
It was God's will that He should die as a sacrifice for sin and shed His blood.
He was buried.
He rose from the dead.
Why did He die it was because we had offended an Holy God with our sin and justice demanded death. You must realise that you are a sinner and that you need a Saviour.
He died in our place He bore the judgement of God for us, Our sin was placed on Him, He paid the penalty for us. We need to respond to the love of God now, and one day we will be with the Lord. Choose this day who you will serve Heaven is where He is or there is Hell  where there is fire and torment sorrow and remorse.
John 20 vs.31  But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Gospel Meeting 11/05/2014

Mr. Phillip Kaye read Luke 23 vs.32-43.
Come near to the cross.
Three crosses, the men on either side were sinners there as punishment for their sins.
The one in the middle was the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God and He had done no sin but died to take the judgement of God for my sin and yours.
One thief who died believed and was saved and went to Heaven.
One thief who died didn't believe and went to a lost Eternity.
they were together in life but separate in death.
The one who believed-
He had the right assessment of himself and of the Lord Jesus.
He had the right attitude to his situation.
He received assurance.
His advancement was limited as he was about to die.
If we come in repentance and faith we have an opportunity to spiritually advance, to be baptised, live our lives for Him, pray, read His word, meet with His people etc.
Which side of the centre cross are you will you believe.

Gospel Meeting 04/05/2014

Mr. Brian Dunning read John 6 vs.35-65 and Song of Solomon 1vs.1-3
                                                                 KISSES
The prodigal son- kiss of love and reconciliation.
David and Absalom kiss of reconciliation.
Kiss His feet kiss of subjection - every knee shall bow.
A kiss is the experience of the expression of love.
She had a desire to experience His kisses.
Eternal Election.
Salvation.
Redemption.
Atonement.
Justification.
Resurrection.
Ascension.
Sanctification.
Glorification.
We need this because we are sinners separated from God, so God sent His Son to die for us on the cross and pay the price with His blood. His love has been expressed to us in this way do we desire to experience His Love, we need to come in faith and repentance to Him.
