Gospel Meeting 28/06/2015

Mr. Keith Clayton read Luke 7 vs.11-17, John 9 vs.1-7, 11 vs.1-7 &18-27 and
Psalm 135 vs.6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
God is Sovereign, Eternal He has no beginning or end.
We can't always understand why God allows many things to happen eg. disasters, atrocities etc. but in the three accounts we have read it was for the glory of God. We have a skewed view of things but we must always accept the sovereignty of God.
He knows us, He cares for us, He loves us God is love.
John 3 vs.16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God's Son Jesus Christ died on a cross to satisfy God's love, justice, mercy, and holiness. He took our place and bore the judgement for our sin. We have an opportunity to get right with God if we come to Him in repentance and faith accepting that He died in my place for my sin.
What will you do - God is Sovereign and He gives manifold blessings to those who trust Him.

Gospel Meeting 21/06/2015

Mr. Richard Malcolm read part of 1 John 4 vs.14.
"the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world."
A message on "Fathers Day" about the Father and the Son.
God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
God sent His Son to die for us, He came to a place of rejection, even before His birth there was no room for them in the Inn.
God sent Him because He loves us, and He came because He loves us. We have a problem we can't resolve and that is sin it is not OK to disobey God. We won't get to Heaven with our sin but we will go to Hell.
Heaven is the place where God is.
Hell is blackness of darkness forever.
Galatians 2 vs. 20 "the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
Our sin needs to be dealt with and Jesus paid the price in full for all my sin.
God requires us to repent and put our faith and trust in His Son Jesus Christ.
He died, was buried, rose again and now is in Heaven and will give us a home there if we trust Him.
Choose whether to believe or ignore and reject Him.
LORD SAVE ME.

Gospel Meeting 14/06/2015

Mr. Malcolm Neate read Exodus 12 vs.1-13, 21-23 and 29-30.
Malcolm first of all spoke about Jesus as the Lamb of God.
A Lamb - A Saviour.
The Lamb - The Saviour.
Your Lamb - Our Savior.
Kill It - Jesus Died.

Then he went on to speak about a new start. 2 Corinthians 5 vs.17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We must recognise that we are sinners and that we need to get right with a Holy God, acknowledge that Jesus loves you and that He died for you. we were dead in sins we have new life in Him through faith.
The lamb is sufficient for all, all sufficient He is without blemish He can save anyone.
He did no sin.
In Him is no sin.
He knew no sin.
He bore our sin, no sin of His own to die for. He shed His blood and we shelter in His blood but the blood must be applied. Don't be lost forever, it doesn't matter who you are you need to be saved

Gospel Meeting 07/06/2015

Mr. Phillip Kaye read Mark 5 vs.25-34.
Christ is the only one who can meet your need, He gives forgiveness, Salvation, Heaven.
Do you know Him in a personal way.
Power over demons.
Power over death.
Power over disease.
This is demonstrated in this chapter with a woman, a man and a child.
To deliver you from sin He suffered and died.

Her Condition.
Her Coming.
Her Cure.
Her Confession.

1/ Her Condition.
No one else could help, she had an internal problem that showed outwardly just like our sin.
We mustn't ignore it but face up to it, we must acknowledge it and come to Christ who has the answer.
If Jesus is your Saviour you will go to Heaven, if not you will go to Hell. He loves you and wants to save you.

2/ Her Coming.
She came to Jesus He was different she could depend on Him, He would transform her life. He will save you and give you a home in Heaven. He shed His precious blood and died on the cross willingly for you.

3/ Her Cure.
She was not disappointed, Christ has finished the work God was satisfied with the sacrifice of Christ at Calvary. We Just need to repent and believe, we can't earn Salvation or pay for it.
Romans 10 vs.9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
She didn't just feel a bit better she was completely cured immediately, as with our sin and we will know and it will show in our lives.
1 John 1 vs.7  and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

4/ Her Confession.
She wanted to slip away but she acknowledged publicly what had happened.
We should acknowledge publicily too when we are saved by being Baptised by immersion linking ourselves with His death and resurrection. we become a new person in Christ and will have the peace of God.

Gospel Meeting 31/05/2015

Mr. Rex Maffey read Matthew 4 vs.13-17, 8 vs.1, 11 vs.23-24 and Luke 4 vs.31, 38-39.
Capernaum - indifference and apathy towards the Lord Jesus much as today in this country.
A Saviour has been provided for all mankind, the work has been done. His sacrifice on the cross at Calvary has satisfied a Holy God "it is finished."
All we need to do is repent and believe.
1/ A Great Light.
2/ A Great Fever.
3/ A Great Faith.

1/ A Great Light.
Jesus said "I AM the light of the world."
John 3 vs.19  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Sin is a reality in the world today and also in our hearts, we are sinners for whom Christ died.
I was a guilty sinner.
Jesus Christ died for me.

2/ A Great Fever.
The power of sin leaves us helpless there is a universal epidemic.
Christ's remedy is completely effective, once our sin is forgiven we are saved for Eternity
He is a wonderful Saviour.

3/ A Great Faith.
We can't come to anyone greater, when we appreciate His greatness it makes us humble.
Confession also brings humility we must repent and believe.
Forsaking
All
I
Trust
Him.

God loves you He gave His Son to die for you, He bore God's judgement in your place.
