Gospel Meeting 26/03/2017

John 3 vs.1-15.
Just believing in God is not enough for Salvation.
Devils believe.
You can academically believe.
You can believe in the signs and wonders.
or you can have saving faith in the Lord Jesus.
John 3 Nicodemus - you must be born again.
vs.3 Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
He saves us out of the world and takes the world out of us. Redeemed. We are going to Hell if we don't have Christ, you must be born again.

Luke 18 The rich man - what is impossible for man is possible with God.
vs.27  And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
Matthew 1 vs.21  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Acts 10 Cornelius - we need forgiveness for our sin.
vs.36  The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
Isaiah 53:7   he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter,
We come to the cross with our sins, and leave without them. Through repentance and faith in Him.

Gospel Meeting 19/03/2017

Luke 18 vs.1 and 9-14.
Lord teach us how to pray.
How important is prayer to you, and is it mainly about you, do you look down on others.
God sent His Son to die for us, we are all sinners.
The second man was humble "God be merciful to me a sinner."
vs.14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
We need to come humbly before God acknowledging that we are a sinner and repent and put our trust in the Lord Jesus. That is the way to heaven.

Gospel Meeting 12/03/2017

Acts 3 vs.1-26.
1/ vs.1-3 The Man.
2/ vs.4-11 The Miracle.
3/ vs.12-26 The Message.

1/ He was about 40 years old and he had been lame from birth, he was weak and helpless.
Our sin makes us weak and helpless and it must be dealt with.
He was laid at the Temple daily.
God doesn't do things by deception but in reality.
Peter and John stood out from the crowd, do we as Christians?

2/The man walks, all the money in the world cannot treat sin. Only God can forgive sin through His Son Jesus Christ.
He walked immediately and praised God openly.
Jesus is the greatest among men, He never fails and is Holy.
We fail but God uses us through the Holy Spirit.

3/ a/ The audience
    b/ The accusations.
    c/ The acceptance or rejection.
John 3 vs.16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Acts 3 vs.13  The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
14  But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
15  And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

If we accept Jesus Christ and His message we will go to Heaven, if we reject Him we will go to Hell

Romans 6 vs.23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Acts 3 vs.19  Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Jesus died to save sinners.
He is a friend that will never leave us or forsake us.
He affects our whole life, and our Eternity.
God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell thats why He sent His Son to die for us.

Gospel Meeting 05/03/2017

Philippians 2 1-13.
We should have a real love and interest in each other and not demand our own way.
Christ is the ultimate example.
We are a work in progress, and we have our differences but we should become more and more like Christ.
It is hard for us, it was even harder for Him. He had the right to insist on His rights but He bore the sins of all people.
He says follow my example.
vs.5  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
He has always been God, there was never a time when He wasn't God.
He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord's but He became a slave.
He submitted Himself to His Father but was always equal to Him and the Holy Spirit but they fulfilled different roles.
It was the Son's role to become a man (but never ceased to be God) and bear the judgement of God for sin so that if we repent of our sin and put our faith and trust in Him and His finished work at Calvary we will be saved, forgiven, redeemed, born again ETC.

vs.9  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

To the glory of God the Father.
