Gospel Meeting 24/07/1016

Mr. Neil Bedford read 2 Kings 4 vs.1-7
"Running On Empty"
Nothing.
What God can do with an empty vessel.
Philippians 4 vs.19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Water to wine, feeding the 5,000.
People try many things to achieve satisfaction but it is only fleeting , there is a void that only God can fill.
Trusting God will give you lasting satisfaction.
God sent His Son to make this possible, He died on the cross to pay for our sin, if we repent and trust Him we will have forgiveness and Eternal Life.
We will have new life through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
Pray, praise and petition Him
Accept and recognise your sin, confess your sin, and forsake your sin.
Empty yourself of sin, self, and substitutes, then totally surrender yourself to God and He will fill you, and you will enjoy intimacy with God.

John 15 vs. 10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11  These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Gospel Meeting 17/07/2016

Mr. Jim Locke read John 3 vs.16.
16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Galatians 2 vs.20.
20  Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Galatians 1 vs.4.
4  Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
1 Timothy 2 vs.5-6.
5  For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6  Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Titus 2 vs.13-14.
13  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

1/ God Gave.
2/ Gave Himself for me.
3/ Gave Himself for our sins.
4/ Gave Himself a ransom.
5/ Gave himself for us, that he might redeem us.

We must first recognise that we are sinners and come humbly to God in repentance and faith in the One who died for us
We must either accept or reject Him it is an individual thing
The choice is Heaven or Hell.

Gospel Meeting 10/07/2016

Mr. George Clamp read Galatians 2 vs.20.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

In Jesus we can have Peace with God, a Purpose in life, and a Place in Heaven.
Through repentance and faith in Him. He died to obtain forgiveness for us.

Gospel Meeting 03/07/2016

Mr. Richard Malcolm read John 19 vs.5.
"Behold The Man"
The Lord Jesus Loved us, loves us, laid down His life for us, He rose again.
He wants to help us, He is coming back.
He can give us Peace, Salvation, A home in Heaven.
Behold The Man who died on a cross.
Love brought God's Son down from Heaven. We didn't deserve His love.
Many people wanted to get rid of Him - Pilate said "Behold The Man". The people cried "Crucify Him".
They made Him suffer greatly, He carried His cross to Calvary, there they crucified Him.
God was in control and He punished His Son for our sin and He paid the price in full.
We are all sinners, sin cannot enter Heaven.
Heaven and Hell are real and the only way not to go to Hell but go to Heaven is by having your sin dealt with and receive God's forgiveness by repenting and putting your faith and trust in Jesus.
No one else can do it for you you need to do it yourself and do it now. He is coming back very soon.
"What think ye of Christ."
