Gospel Meeting 24/05/2015.

Mr. Neil Bedford read Matthew 16 vs.13-28.
Jesus came to give abundant life and great rewards in this life, and also the life that's to come.
vs.26  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
1/ Released from guilt, sin created a barrier.
2/ Power to conquer sin.
3/ Assurance that we are members of God's family.
4/  Deep and lasting peace.
5/ Fullness of joy.
6/  Freedom from loneliness.
7/ Escape from Eternal doom.
But God requires commitment from us.
The power of Christ can change the world.
He was so committed that He was crucified and rose again for us.
vs.24  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Deny ourselves and follow Him, exchange a life that's dying for Eternal life.

Gospel Meeting 17/05/2015.

Mr. Bruce Clark read Psalm 46, and John 17 vs.6-19.
1/ We have IDENTITY in Christ.
2/ We have UNITY in Christ.
3/ We have GLORY in Christ.

1/ People seek an identity for themselves through various hero's etc. but our identity is with Jesus Christ the perfect role model, He will never disappoint. He loves us and He died for us so that we could be forgiven. We should identify with His cross. The cross happens in us. Love has conquered.

2/  vs.21  That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we are united with God through love and also with each other.

3/ vs.4  I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5  And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Heaven is solid, not ghost like, the unseen things are Eternal. He has given us His glory, and many wonderful blessings.

Gospel Meeting 10/05/2015

Mr. Mike Wajdner (SASRA). read Judges 3 vs.11-30.

1Corinthians 10 vs.12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Judges 2 vs.11  And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim:
12  And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger.
13  And they forsook the LORD, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.
They forsook the Lord, they followed other god's, they bowed down to other god's, they were in servitude to other god's. The evil one ensnares.
God will never forsake us, but He will show His anger to bring us to our senses.
Israel cried out to God for deliverance, the weak overcame the strong.
Redemption. The Lord came to deliver alone.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
He defeated the Devil who had the power of death. Jesus Christ has overcome and won the victory, and we can receive redemption through faith in Him.

Gospel Meeting 03/05/2015

Mr. Liam Rees read Luke 13 vs.10-17.
"The woman who could only look down".
Although it was difficult for her to get around she was determined to get to the Synagogue, the place of worship it was the right place to be.
She glorified God and she had faith.
The miracle of her healing demonstrated the power of the Lord Jesus the Son of God.
He showed her compassion, love, mercy and grace.
We have a condition called sin it is repugnant to God. He reaches out to us with forgiveness. We have the scriptures we know what happened at Calvary. He took our punishment, He shed His blood for us. Did you realise just how far He went for you. Saving a soul is for Eternity. The alternatives are Heaven or Hell. God will punish sin but we can be forgiven if we show genuine remorse for our sin and repent and turn to Him in faith. He is the only way.
God sent Him willingly and He came willingly.
We don't know when He is coming again are you ready, Don't reject Him.

Acts 16 vs.31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
