Do you know why you are a Christian, have you been convicted by the Spirit, have you considered the proof.
The Lord Jesus Christ is unique.
He is unique in origin, relationship, characteristics, status, and purpose.
1/ ORIGIN.
Old Testament prophecies, He is Jehovah, virgin birth.
2/ RELATIONSHIP.
Special, only Son of God. "You are my Son."
3/ CHARACTERISTICS.
Holy One, He is perfection, He did a perfect work at Calvary, to make us righteous before God. God loves sinners, He loves us as much as He loves His Son.
He bore the judgement for sin for us, there were many witnesses to His resurrection.
He is morally pure and undefiled.
4/ STATUS.
He will reign forever, Shiloh no end He is the mighty one.
5/ PURPOSE.
You shall call His name Jesus, Jehovah saves His people from their sins.
He saves us from the penalty,power, practice,and presence of sin.
He has done all things well, He said "it is finished" He dealt with sin completely.
