Neil Bedford of Leeds led our meeting on 1st August using the story of Zaccheus as recorded in Luke 19 1-10. A little man meets a big God!
John Stubbs took the meeting tonight at short notice and gave us a powerful message of salvation drawn from the well known verse, John 3 16 which speaks so much of the Love of God.
John Stubbs and his wife (Mayfield assembly) are presently on holiday at Bridlington. They and Tom and Pauline McAlpine of Whitburn and Mrs Helen Martin and her son Peregrine of Woodford joined us this morning around the Lord's Table.
Peter Jones is making a good recovery following a hip replacement operation last Monday. Praise the Lord! We continue to remember him, his wife Audrey, Terry and Iris Benstead and Brenda Hope in our prayers.
