Jesus was born into this world in Bethlehem, Israel, as the prophets had predicted. He came at the right time, in the days of the Roman empire, when His message could spread throughout the empire and to the known parts of the world in a short time. His reason for coming was to endure a life of humility, suffering and death that he could bear our sins on the cross that He might bring us back to God. Jesus is coming a second time to receive His people; are you ready to meet Him?
