Gospel Meeting 22/03/2015

Mr. Allistair Patterson read Psalm 20 and Hosea 14 vs.1-9, 10 vs.12-15.
The relationship between God and His people.
They had departed and were warned that they would be brought to ruin.
God's lessen to Israel about being unfaithful was very painful for Hosea.
three children; judgement, no more mercy and not my people.
The people were useless and heartless, but God's instruction to Hosea to go and buy his wife back is a picture of God's love grace and mercy. The people ignore the message they were immoral and they reveled in evil, they had forgotten their maker, they would reap the harvest of what they had sown and be taken into captivity, or the alternative was to sow righteousness and reap mercy. They needed to change right away.
What about our nation?
What about our church?
What about us personally?
We will reap what we sow. God is patient, merciful and gracious.
It is time to turn to God or face judgement.
Trust the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation, He died on the cross to save you.
We should do the right thing and present ourselves to God by His grace.
Break up your fallow ground prepare your hearts and lives to be used for God. It will be painful are you following God in your Prayer life,
                                            Bible reading,
                                            Surrender to God's will,
                                            Humility,
                                            Forgiveness,
                                            Finances,
                                            Giving,
                                            Moral life,
                                            Thought life,
                                            Family Life,
                                            Worship,
                                            Honesty,
We should be living sacrifices, it is time to seek the Lord, it will be painful but fruitful.
