Missionary Report

Andy Street (Echoes of Service) gave a report on the work in Haiti in the aftermath of the earthquake of January 2010. Echoes has been supporting various projects in the country, including projects to build homes in the cities and rural areas for those who have lost homes. Andy had visited the country to find out were the money donated to Echoes would be best used. A large proportion of the money donated to non-governmental organisations (NGO's) is lost through corruption and bureaucracy. Echoes ensures that the money that it donates is given directly to Christians who live in the Haiti and that it is used to help those directly affected by the earthquake.
