Gospel Meeting 15/06/2014

Mr. John Clegg read Luke 2 vs.25-30, John 1 vs.45-49, and John 20 vs.19-29

1/ Simeon - Mine eyes have seen thy Salvation.
We don't know the future we don't know how long we have left on this earth, bur do we know who holds the future.
Christians may not die before they see their Lord.
Are you ready, you need to make an individual decision for Christ.

2/ Nathaniel - Thou art the Son of God the King of Israel.
"Can any good thing come out of Nazareth." Every good thing came out of Nazareth in Jesus Christ.
They nailed the carpenter to a cross of wood using nails.
He was always doing good, He was always pleasing God, yet He was despised and rejected.
He can never fail, lie, disappoint, break a promise, sin.

3/ Thomas - My Lord and my God.
Sadness turned to joy Thomas wasn't there the first time and he doubted.
Blessed are they who have not seen yet have believed.
He died on the cross and shed His blood for us and calls us blessed, will you trust Him for Salvation.
We will all see Him one day either as our Saviour or our judge, which is it for you.
